- Demonstrated experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and methodology development;

Preferred Qualifications
- The Department prefers the candidate has the following experience, skills, and/or knowledge for this position:
- Certification in QA from a recognized body, such as the American Society for Quality (ASQ)
- Certifications like the Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) or the Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) are highly desirable
- Proficiency in QA tools, such as Selenium, Hewlett Packard (HP) Application Lifecycle
- Management (ALM), and JMeter
- Experience working on state or federal government projects with an understanding of the specific quality standards and regulations required
- Experience collaborating with software development teams to identify system issues and solutions;
- An analytical mindset with the initiative to solve complex problems with a proactive approach to QA
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of IT standards, QA best practices, and security protocols, particularly in sensitive industries such as criminal justice
- An energetic and team-oriented attitude with a diligent work ethic

Scope of Work/Job Characteristics:
- The Quality Assurance Analysts will serve as the principal line of communication for the project team.
- The duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:
- Develop and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications;
- Participate in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation, and executing these tests;
- Define and track QA metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status;
- Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrate the improvements into business processes;
- Document all identified problems and assist in the resolution;
- Deliver quality process training to technical staff and act as an internal quality consultant to advise business or technical partners;
- Perform quality audits across various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed;
- Create a wide variety of technical publications, including instructional materials, technical manuals, and product documentation for use by both the IT and business community;
- Maintain all project artifacts and other documentation as necessary in accordance with standards to ensure compliance and QA;
- Serve as a liaison with users to understand and translate their needs into QA strategies;
- Follow a standard set of practices that ensure the integrity and quality of project artifacts;
- Manage expectations of diverse stakeholders and provide regular briefings to executives on quality issues and outcomes;
- Work independently and as part of a larger cross-functional team to ensure quality is maintained throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle; and
- Assist with project coordination, support, and documentation to maintain continuous quality improvement
