* 6+ years of experience as a Linux Admin  
* Cloud experience (Strongly prefers GCP and some AWS is a nice to have)
* VMware vSphere Experience
* Understanding of Patch and Vulnerability mgmt 
* Scripting experience (Bash or Powershell), able to write and automate custom scripts
* Needs to have excellent communication and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED
* Some Windows is preferred, they run Windows Servers (2016, 2019)
*Security-minded (it would be great for trace amounts of security language to be found in their resume  - certifications, mention of MFA)
* Networking (cable patching)
*Active Directory (LDAP)
*Change management

JOB DESCRIPTION 

The hiring manager is looking for a Sr Linux admin to help out since he has a team member out on medical leave.  Their environment is 80% Linux/ 20% Windows.  They are GCP for Cloud and VMWare.  It's a mix of on-prem and cloud, in total they have about 300 servers.  Senior/Lead level preferred.  He has a team of 4 admins now and the Infra Manager. Most of their Admins are Generalists who have worked on many different technologies, so they prefer that.
