 This individual works as a team member along with the Project Manager, Solution Architect, and ServiceNow Developers. They support testing and administration of the ServiceNow solution.

They perform technical aspects of the ServiceNow implementation including: ServiceNow User and Workgroup management, Account Management, Roles and Access controls, Data Normalization,

Business rules, Workflow Automation, and Reporting. They also provide ServiceNow focused data collection, record cleanup, and documentation. They participate in Technical Exchange Meetings and

support the ServiceNow application upkeep.

Specific technologies from our Dev team:

•       ServiceNow (from a developer perspective) – update sets, ui pages, ui macros, ui scripts, business rules, system properties, email notification scripting, modules, script includes.

•       jQuery – used for developing the user interface.  If they don’t understand this, there will be big problems.

•       Javascript – the single development language – all ‘code’ is written in javascript.  They must like to code in this and have a couple years of experience.

•       Html/css – a good understanding/familiarity is very important.  All the user interface (forms) rely on this.
