Responsible for designing, modeling, developing and supporting Database Management Systems (DBMS). Analyzes data requirements, application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schema(s), and then designs, develops, amends, optimizes, and certifies database schema design to meet system(s) requirements. This position is responsible for data migration from multiple systems including interaction with end users to gather requirements using the available BI tools at hand. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the migration process, performing data validation and reconciliation as needed. The Database analyst will support the Information Systems department by migrating the data from one system to another systems , Create complex functions and stored procedures. Design, develop, test and implement reports as necessary to fulfill business requirements Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables in accordance with due dates and project requirements Ability to construct reusable reports based on common reporting requests using available tools Provide timely scheduled management reporting . Develop and execute test cases to validate the migrated data's accuracy and functionality . Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff and outside vendors Serve as a subject matter expert across the organization and assist users with reporting and analysis activities and tools, including ad hoc reporting Support user testing, documentation, and roll-out of reports and end-user reporting tools Create and modify reports and report templates using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Design and implement efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to transfer data Advanced understanding of relational databases, (MS SQL, SSRS, SSIS) and advanced querying techniques Research required data and data relationships Extract, filter, and aggregate data through logical queries and programming Develop MS-SQL objects (tables, stored procedures, functions, views, etc.) Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements Ensure high data quality through regular quality checks and troubleshoot issues reported by users to correct the data Maintain a high level of confidentiality and use discretion when needed Solve problems and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Take direction, accept constructive criticism and to be diplomatic when reviewing work of others Ability to initiate and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers, managers and supervisors, customers/clients, and members of the public

Skills Required

Intermediate professional level role. Designs and supports DBMS of low to medium complexity. Works on one or more projects as a project team member. Develop MS-SQL objects (tables, stored procedures, functions, views, etc.) Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements Ensure high data quality through regular quality checks and troubleshoot issues reported by users to correct the data Maintain a high level of confidentiality and use discretion when needed Solve problems and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Take direction, accept constructive criticism and to be diplomatic when reviewing work of others Ability to initiate and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers, managers and supervisors, customers/clients, and members of the public.

Experience Required

Typically has 3 to 5 years of IT work experience in DBA, DBMS design and support and relevant computing environments. 3 to 5 years of experience in ETL & Reporting
