Key Responsibilities.

CLient requires a Business Architect/Functional Lead who demonstrates strong leadership abilities, is knowledgeable in Duck Creek Policy platform & P&C insurance domain and can work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role will be work from home however travel is required and varies based on the assigned account requirements. This employee will work with large implementation teams and work directly with clients to solve business problems. This role will be a liaison between business and IT and is expected to understand business problems and propose solutions using Duck Creek knowledge. Potential candidate will work in a team setting, providing guidance to less senior team members, communicating status to the client and project manager, and help keeping the project moving from a requirements aspect. Employee will independently ensure that the quality of a developed product has met the acceptance criteria for client delivery by providing in-depth knowledge of approved business and testing requirements, insurance, and technical aspects of Duck Creek products.

Required Experience & Responsibilities.

• DC Policy Business Analyst 10+ years

• Ability to lead daily stand-up meetings for BA/Tech/QA team members if team size requires

• Ability to provide expert guidance in the understanding of the insurance product and business needs of the customer

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to generate and deliver informative and well-organized presentations

• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group to include executives, managers, and subject matter experts

• Ability to understand the business issues and data challenges of the customer and collaborate with the team to build and present solutions

• Lead meetings with stakeholders to determine priorities and critical path items necessary to achieve defined objectives according to plan.

• Ability to collaborate with a cross-geo business and technical team when nonstandard requirements / customization requests are identified to provide alternative business solutions and work arounds to meet the client’s needs

• Ability to assist with program management activities such as Identification of project risks and collaborate with the team to implement mitigation plans that follow through to risk closure

• Experience in managing and prioritizing a product backlog from inception through implementation go live to include full program dependency planning to ensure cohesive delivery across the program lifecycle (Items such as integrations, client led deliverables, etc.)

• Collaborates with team members (business, technical, quality) to ensure clarity and understanding of the business requirements, success criteria and outcomes desired by the client

Should be a team player, excellent client facing skills, deep and wide knowledge of Duck Creek platform, deep and wide P&C domain knowledge
