JOB DETAIL

Works in a cross-functional implementation team and is responsible for detail technical design,  development focusing on design, coding and implementation
 • Produce scalable and flexible, high-quality code that satisfies  functional and non-functional requirements and aligns with Volkswagen global standards 
• Identify technical issues & coordinate the resolution of these issues with extended IT and Business team members 
• Supports Functional and Technical consultants to  design and implement System solutions 
• Collaborate/communicate with project team and business users as required
• Perform and coordinate  Unit testing, Integration testing  and Performance testing  and support User acceptance testing 
• Develop configurable software services that support applications integrates to enterprise services
•  Identify technical issues & coordinate the resolution of these issues with extended team members from other applications
Author detailed design specifications and lead reviews to conform to software development processes.
• Handle end to end project technical design  independently and provide guidance to team members.
• Perform analysis of critical issues for the projects and provide expertise towards resolution.
• Perform high-level analysis of any new requirements/change requests to the solution from a techno-functional standpoint.
• Provide direction to development teams for custom solution realization and participate, as necessary, in coding, testing, documentation, go-live and maintenance support activities.
• Analyze the impact of any new requirements on the existing solution.
• Estimation of efforts for issue-resolution and change requests.
• Guide and influence team members to accomplish the team’s technical and schedule goals.
• Work closely with other IT teams, SAP  teams and external partners  to ensure successful project completion.
• Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment and influence others that impact success
•  Possess strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and convey ideas to cross-functional technical and non-technical teams

Skills/Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP Technical Consultant 
Hands-on experience in the following: 
• Reports
• Enhancements
• Interfaces ( EDI/ALE/RFC/BAPI/SOA/OData/Web Services and file based )
•  Forms( Smart form/Adobe Forms/SAP Scripts)
• Conversion
•  WebDynpro
•  ABAP Objects and ALV 
•  ABAP debugging and SAP Transport management
• SAP Archiving experience is an added advantage 
•  SAP Application Testing tool ( Worksoft) knowledge/Experience is a plus
•   Experience in MM/SD/FICO/LE/PS/APO development is required

Unique Skills (Asset):
•Experience in Worksoft tool, SAP HANA , EWM , IM3 interfaces is preferred
•Experience with VW SAP ET2000 process is preferred
