The Client requires a Technical Business Analyst to support the ongoing changes in US Regulatory Reporting with a concentrated focus on AxiomSL (Adenza) ControllerView® reporting functionality and development for Federal Reserve reports. The identified resource will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders within Finance and Information Technology to ensure expected and appropriate oversight, results of process design and implementation, and operational risk and controls including:
Generation of existing regulatory reporting
Monitoring of regulatory updates associated with existing reporting including appropriate communication and escalation to Regulatory Reporting key stakeholders.
Development and implementation of Controller View platform updates (including user acceptance testing design and execution).
Identification and remediation of reporting errors, issues, and/or bugs.
Creation of new reporting (including user acceptance testing design and execution).
5+ years’ experience in Information Technology
3+ years AxiomSL/ControllerView® experience, Adenza interaction,
Strong understanding of SQL, Oracle Databases and PL/SQL to support the development and review of PL/SQL code associated with data sourcing into Axiom.
Understanding end to end data flow from database to Axiom platform and reporting.
Ability to design, develop, and implement AxiomSL objects like Data Sources, Data Models, Portfolios, Aggregations.
Prior AxiomSL development, unit testing portfolios, aggregations, nodes, shorthand development and thorough free form/tabular report dependency testing.
Ability to analyze issues with Axiom configurations and drilldown for root cause analysis.
Strong proficiency in ensuring written code/ configurations meet company and departmental standards.
Adept in review of requirement documentation to ensure functional requirements are well understood and conform to business needs.
Prior experience in the preparation and execution of detailed unit test cases to assess adequacy of AxiomSL ControllerView® coding.
Coordination of obtaining required stakeholder approval and packaging of code for implementation.
Strong communication skills including coordination and interaction with business counterparts for requirement gathering and user acceptance testing.
Ability to provide ongoing and post-implementation support.
Experience in supporting periodic reporting production, controls and related documentation/workpapers in line with regulatory expectations.
Ability to disseminate knowledge sharing with stakeholders and colleagues.
Ability to set standards and operational models.
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline
Knowledge of the banking industry
Experience with US, EMEA or APAC regulatory reporting and requirements, business analysis, financial reporting.
