Job Overview:
We are seeking a Business Analyst with hands-on experience with Broker Dealer Integration. A successful candidate will have prior experience in building and analysis of client requirements within Broker Dealer/ Banking environment. This candidate will be familiar with financial services operations, technology, process workflow, and services. Individual will need to be Self-guided, detailed, a quick learner, have superior written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Conduct interview sessions with SME, business, and tech teams
- Document user requirements, system flows, and work with technology team members to match to application specifications
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise specifications
- Act as liaison between stakeholders, users, platform vendors, technology counterparts, and senior leadership
- Work in a post M&A or multi stakeholder environment
- Assist in creating a migration data and process map
- Build current state and future state Operating Models
- Perform gap analysis of product requirements identifying alternative solutions based on capabilities, customizations, or business process changes
- Perform requirements and product mapping between multiple systems
- Identify risks and issues related to business requirements and potential configuration challenges
- Trace the impacts of business requirements to configuration and system impact / Root Cause Analysis
- Own tasks and provide thoughtful results with limited guidance
Qualifications:
3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within a Broker Dealer / Financial services environment
- Direct experience performing system gap analysis
- Detailed familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Technical writing experience, including system or configuration documentation, user manuals, and requirements documentation.
- Knowledge of banking and brokerage operations, lending, deposits, and treasury
- Understanding of technical diagrams, system flows, and data requirements documents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Post M&A integration experience
- Experience multiple core banking platforms
- Familiarity with FIS, Fidelity and or Fiserv platforms
- Understanding of the system development lifecycle (SDLC) Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Understanding of industry regulations, security protocols, and compliance standards related to banking operations.
