They will be holistically building a more modern framework around all cloud platforms and the services involved, and how they automate. All of this to support how they manage vendor and internally engineered applications, and cloud. This includes cloud landing zone automation, code landing zone automation, IAM automation, containerized automation, virtual network automation, CICD, Azure, GCP, automating integration SAAS platforms and overall developer experience implementation. So it’s a whole entire end to end scope from ground up that they are looking to implement with modern cloud hardening techniques based on well architected frameworks available and create an holistic solution. This DevOps Engineer should in the first 30 days in the role, understand the existing ecosystem and drive some initial requirements forward with the first focus being on the Azure side. There is some foundational work that needs to be done. On the AWS side, they will be engaging with the existing foundation they have built there and drive that forward as well. They will be defining framework and document their involvement with that for AWS and Azure.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Creative approach to create new solutions, they should have ideas and initiative on how to transform, and a good grasp on how to manage technology and streamline what they do.
• Key is that they can help to create that new framework and foundation and have that proven capability from experience where they were given that responsibility and were successful.
• Cloud platform experience, ideally AWS over Azure exp
• Terraform experience.
• Understand from DevOps standpoint where the industry is headed, and new tools in the marketplace.
• Strategic vision for DevOps.
