JOB DETAIL

This role must navigate cross-functionally with executive leadership in pursuit of demand management, resource alignment, solutions/services delivery.

 The Senior Project Manager must navigate cross-functionally with executive leadership in pursuit of demand management, resource alignment, and solutions/services delivery. Accountable for the planning, prioritization, and delivery execution of ISD projects.  Partner with Business Functions, Architecture, Applications, Infrastructure, etc. to determine feasibility of incoming business requests and to formulate financial and resource estimates. 

 Works in conjunction with other ISD colleagues to assure that the solutions produced meet the expectations of the business and the team is executing in the most efficient way. Focus on delivering on time on budget and managing demand, capacity and estimates across the portfolio of change initiatives. Provide leadership to the team including driving a focus on continuous improvement. Has organizational ownership for Change Management, Portfolio management and Process/knowledge Management. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Managing IT software development (web-based) and technology management projects that cover all phases of project management from initiation to completion.
  • Leading project delivery, driving projects to meet key milestones, drive accountability and removing obstacles on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Leading cross-departmental teams of subject manager experts (SMEs), business process analysts (BPAs), software developers, quality assurance specialists, network, and infrastructure technologists, and/or external vendors.
  • Providing hands-on general project management and support which includes developing project scope and charter, developing and maintaining work breakdown structures, developing, and maintaining project schedules, managing the requirements definition process, interfacing with technology subject matter experts, managing projects to their on-time completion, within budget and meeting quality standards.
  • Working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create process documentation for current and future state.
  • Creating all required project artifacts and documentation.
  • Working with development and infrastructure teams to obtain estimates.
  • Facilitate requirements review meetings with the project team and stakeholders (business and technical).
  • Conducting status meetings and perform risk assessments, track action items, and provide reporting needed by the Division Leadership.
  • Implementing risk mitigation strategies to ensure high quality and on-time delivery of projects.
  • Working with business and technical stakeholders to ensure that customer requirements are clearly defined, that regular customer communications take place, and that the customer is engaged in the project.
  • Continually work with business and technical stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Experience: 10 years
