• Partner with business executives and end-users to conceptualize new application project.
• Translates business requirements into technical requirements for the project, recommends technical resources and task assignments.
• Owns technical decisions, production of architectural artifacts, and technical designs for assigned projects.
• Helps establish organization-wide software development standards and patterns
• Works hands-on with project teams on the development of complex applications/features
• Assists technical staff with resolving technical issues during the project
• Documents the operational processes and procedures for application deployment, use, and security details
• Partners with product owners and software development managers, ensuring application and system functionality meets the business requirements, performance goals, and quality measures
• Participates in the platform engineering process helping to automate all areas of the SDLC
Requirements
•Bachelor’s Degree in computer science (or equivalent experience) with 8 or more years of relevant experience
• Practical knowledge of modern service-oriented architecture, API design, and enterprise integration patterns
• Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
• Creative at problem solving and overcoming technical challenges
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision
• Demonstrates consistent punctuality along with good time management and task prioritization skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment across all levels in the Organization
• Must keep up-to-date on relevant technology trends
• Well versed in web, Java, and Spring Framework ecosystems
