Responsibilities:
- Support the project manager in overseeing IT Projects from the analysis to completion and manage smaller projects independently
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets and resources
- Coordinate project activities with the project team and support identification of risks and issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts and Developers
- Provide regular project updates and contribute to effective communication with the stakeholders
- Support the team with incoming requests from operations teams or other stakeholders
Skills:
- Requires expertise in project management methodologies Agile, Waterfall; PMP is required
- 3+ years of project management/PMO experience
- Must be from financial services industry
- Aptitude to understand complex and technical concepts
- Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and highly organized
- Proficiency in MS Office applications Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project
- Knowledge of tools such as Confluence and JIRA
- Self-motivated and proactive
