- Provide input to the MedSupp transition strategy, approach, tactical activities
- Gather / document business and technical requirements
- Document current and future process flows
- Organize stories within Polarion (planning tool)
- Provide guidance for test strategy, overall approach and test cases
- Support testing as part of overall testing team
- Provide documentation and support for financial reporting
- Document data flow for internal AZL systems— both for MedSupp and for Life conversions
- Support general MedSupp and Life Conversions cross-organizational effort as needed
- Agent commissions
- Provide input to the overall LTC agent commission strategy, approach and activities
- Support Actuarial team in data analysis regarding agent commissions
- Manage and track documentation for commission strategy
- Organize stories and documentation Polarion
- Coordinate and be responsible for detailed tracking of communications, agent responses, commission payments
- Gather / document requirements to track and execute commission payments internally
- Help to execute manual commission process
- Support overall agent commission cross-organizational strategy as needed
- Reinsurance
- Potential to support reinsurance of long-term care insurance product administration internally at Allianz – to be defined at a future date
Team Methodology: Waterfall, with agility practices built in as possible
Team Makeup: Project Manager, Business Analyst, Product Owner, Enterprise Architect, Developer(s), Quality Assurance, Subject Matter Experts, MedSupp source vendor team, MedSupp target vendor team
Critical Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio and Access
- Strong soft skills; communicate effectively at all levels (e.g., team to executive sponsors)
- Strong team relationship building, leadership and adaptability
- Able to influence without authority
- Effective in eliciting information and facts to drive decisions
- Strong technical and analytic aptitude, coupled with meeting facilitation and management skills
- Self-motivator / driver / organized team player, consistent in follow through
- Operates with a high degree of urgency and proactively addresses open questions and risks
- Maintains a solution mindset, facilitating "here's how we can” versus "here's why we can't”
- 4-6 years business analysis experience preferred
- Required experience: financial services, working with life or health insurance products , working with external vendors
