JOB DETAIL

• Monitoring individual metrics or individual systems for performance and availability

• Trend analysis and reporting across multiple data sources

• Threshold value alerting, triggers, and remediation

 Writes automation code based on existing designs and testing one or two systems

• Ability to “self-learn” to enhance operational functions

• Heterogeneous environment support, including virtual, cloud and platforms

 Demonstrates familiarity with one or two core infrastructure capabilities, e.g., networking, storage or compute

 Demonstrates familiarity with one or two core PaaS capabilities, e.g., containerization and workload schedulers

 Designs and documents technical solutions required to support the business system

• Common services such as Active Directory, Single Sign On

• Network monitoring of the entire infrastructure and platform components

• Enable observability metrics and SLO’s

• Practice DevOps tools

 Has base understanding of some bodies of technologies and expands that knowledgebase when necessary;

 Understands what interdependencies exist and operates within them;

 Stays current on trends within own domain and incorporates best practices into work;

 Strives to understand the technologies used by an engineering team;

 Understands and applies the concepts of data science in operational systems

 Interprets security standards and applies to own work
