- Functional Tester with experience in UI & API Regression Testing
- Hands on experience over SOAP UI automation test design and execution using cucumber
- Hands on experience over Restful service / API automation using cucumber and rest assured framework
- First Priority for these testers will be API functional testing with a secondary focus on performance & load testing the back end as needed
- Familiar with and can articulate different test methods & approaches as they pertain to service layer application testing
- Can articulate the different parts of a test script, has written test scripts in a test case/script repository.
- Understands the role and timing of regression testing on agile teams. Can at minimum talk about different approaches to regression
- Must be able to work well within a team environment and have exceptional collaboration skills with Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams
- Should be a good team player with prior liaison and collaboration experience with senior leaders
Experience and Qualifications:
- Need Minimum 12+ years of experience
- Minimum 3 years Automotive experience
- Prepare the pre-requisites for the upcoming testing.
- Execute scripted and ad-hoc/freeform tests
- Ensure integrity of test cases in JIRA
- Support Triage, defect prioritization, retesting and defect closure
- Timely updates to JIRA tickets for issue resolution visibility and progress
- Analyze Use Cases and Requirements
- Create Test Cases
- Triaging defects created on the OEM side, assign to suppliers and track the progress
- Support Product Owners with joint test events (customer and suppliers)
- Attend program test events (functional testing)
- Build metrics and graphs for defect management
- Review Test plan, schedules, release plans, test cases
- Plan test cycles, create test cases collection.
- Testing point of contact for horizontal team.
