The UX - Interaction Designer will help to shape the end-to-end user experience for the Perinatal Solution. This role requires a solid understanding of human centered design thinking in an agile environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile / Lean UX methodologies, and utilize the latest UX methods, such as Google Design sprints, collaborative design, service design, informal and formal testing, and rapid prototyping.
- Guide effective documentation and communication of design - via wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user stories.
- Leverage a healthcare-wide design system and ensure that the user needs are reflected while maintaining consistency across the software application.
- Work with Senior Designer and product owners to understand market needs & vision; work with teams to quickly translate that vision into workflows, interactions, and designs for software.
- Feel comfortable independently leading design sprints, UX requirements definition sessions, and design thinking workshops, accurately scoping UX research and design work.
- Lead UFEMA activities
- Conducts Formative and Summative studies
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction Design, Information Design, Human-computer interaction (HCII) or Industrial Design preferred or in “STEAM” Majors
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in product or service design
- UX/UI Design Portfolio is a must.
