·Understand and analyze business requirements.

·Design and develop models for Natural Language Processing and python modules.

·Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sources.

·Using machine learning tools to select features, create and optimize classifiers.

·Carrying out pre-processing of structured and unstructured data.

·Enhancing data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems.

·Processing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis.

·Analyzing large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions.

·Developing prediction systems and machine learning algorithms.

·Presenting results in clear manner.

·Propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges.

·Design and develop independent python modules.

·Write unit tests and integration tests.

·Write performant, testable, and readable code.

·Develop RESTFUL API endpoints following micro-services design pattern.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

 

·Strong development experience with Python, Mongo DB and, Kafka

·Proven experience as Data Scientist

·Good knowledge of machine learning methods like k-Nearest Neighbors, Naïve Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing.

·Strong Math Skills – understanding of fundamentals of Multivariable Calculus and Linear Alge-bra, predictive performance.

·Data Wrangling – proficiency in handling imperfections in data

·Strong software engineering background

·Hands-on experience with data science tools

·Problem-solving aptitude

·Analytical mind and business sense

·Exposure to commonly used python libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Requests, Flask, FastAPI

·Experience with Python test frameworks such as Pytest, behave, unittest

·Experience in debugging and tuning performance of python codebase

·Exposure to simple NLP pipeline, including Regex, collating data from heterogeneous sources, web scraping.

·Strong expertise in troubleshooting complex production issues.

·Desirable Skills: Experience in Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins

·Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

·Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while continuously evaluating emerging technologies

·Knowledge of CI/CD and container technologies

·Experience with Linux bash scripting
