Must Haves:
- 8 + years of full stack java development experience – web application development
- Angular or React experience
- Rest API’s
- Microservices
Responsibilities:
- Bring leadership skills applied in a technical context with a team of developers (spread across US/NY/BOS and India)
- Design, implement and maintain enterprise applications built using Java, AngularJS, Oracle and frameworks
- Be a key leader in the agile process fostering collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and transparency
- Steer and mentor a team towards a common technical vision
Required Skills:
- At least 8 years of overall development experience
- 6 + years demonstrated real world experience in: Enterprise web application development, Java, Software engineering principles such as software design patterns, Database principles with MS-SQL, Oracle.
- Knowledge and experience in web service design and implementation
- JavaScript framework experience such as Angular
- Experience with mobile development including native, hybrid and web
- Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps principles
- Understanding of BDD and TDD styles
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior developers
- Excellent team player with the ability to influence and negotiate
