JOB DETAIL

We are looking for a Guidewire/ Java Developer with at least 5+ years of IT experience. This resource needs to have Guidewire Policy Center experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both Java and Guidewire and be able to develop and maintain complex web applications.

-Java and Guidewire (must be within POLICY CENTER)
-Develop and maintain complex web applications.
-Can sit anywhere but must work PST hours

 Job Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop and maintain Java and Guidewire based systems.
- Work with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends in Enterprise level frameworks and platforms.
- Will be responsible for researching and fact-finding to develop or modify information systems and system integrations.
- Assisting in defining best practices, defining standards, developing code libraries and Proof of Concepts.
- Preparing Detailed Specifications or Design from which programs will be written.
- Code/configure, unit test, review code, debug, document, and maintain complex software applications, in an environment that continuously introduces leading-edge technologies.
- This position may be required to lead a medium sized development team and mentor other less experienced developers.

 Desired Technical Skills:

Strong experience in Guidewire (Policy Center), Java, RESTful APIs, Web services and J2EE developme
