- QNXT/Schema knowledge is the most important aspect for the role. This is the database used.
- Seeing a lot of resumes that have QNXT experience that have UI experience and she is not looking for that.
- QNXT database knowledge work on the backend and understand the data and the relationship. When she sees QNXT it needs to be on the backend. The interviews she has had so far do not have this.
- A lot of folks may have healthcare experience that can override their QNXT experience depends on what health care experience is. Some folks have some good QNXT experience Medicaid side is healthcare experience they are looking for. Some folks have been on the development side she is not looking for coder.
- Looking for Data Analyst that understands that data and how it’s used. Someone who has SQL skills. Decent skills. Very simple SQL skills. People who have interviewed have not had these basic skills.
- Documentation involved must talk to client have to understand business requirements and translated into business requirements document.
- These positions also cover interface and reporting. Someone who has a reporting background would be helpful.
- Database side 2-3 years’ experience
- Really good healthcare knowledge (Medicaid) and no QNXT experience would be ok if they have everything else.
Responsibilities:
- Creates accurate mapping documents according to the mapping process.
- Works toward delivering a first draft solution to ETL for coding, by rapidly understanding which details about the mapping can be deferred.
- Supports DSD creation and response.
- Presents analysis and design recommendations to lead MITA teams, customer and/or vendors into the acceptance of the design.
- Supports the ETL developers based on the mappings created.
- Works closely with configuration team and DBAs to ensure synchronicity of configuration to interfaces and mappings.
- Refines mapping documents, adding more detail and filling out deferred material as questions are resolved.
- Uses SQL, data models, data element dictionary and schema to perform data and business analysis.
- Creates unit test cases for area of responsibility.
- Validates test plan results that satisfy the detailed design goals.
- Updates technical specifications and mappings.
