Overview:The Python Developer will assist with the buildout of a platform to help the Data Scientists deploy their models into production (specifically reinforcement learning models). This team supports search and recommendations for online (the .COM). This engineer will be building the platform and helping deploy these ML models that the data scientists are creating to production. They will be responsible for building new API's from scratch (Python/Flask/Fast API) and then integrating the API's with Java applications (Java is a plus but ideally they have some Java experience), and then using these API's to deploy the models and make sure they are fulling functioning using CI/CD, writing unit tests, GCP/Big Query, etc. (GCP is a must have). This candidate will ideally have some ML engineering experience as the models they will be deploying have Python, Pytorch, TensorFlow, reinforcement learning, etc.
