• 5 Teams within the group, 4 with data engineers (5 per team) within Small Business Card
  • Restack with Salesforce instance and API integration
  • This is phase 2 with new data connections and enhancing campaign capabilities
  • Working with customer data ~ 2.5 MM customers
• Data Engineer with Python or Java coding background (python is the preference and will be used more)
  • 6-7 years experience overall
• AWS (Lambda-serverless, EMR)
  • Build apps on serverless, build them out, test and deploy in AWS environment
• Streaming data and moving to Kafka for real time
• Day to day:
  • Daily stand ups, sprint planning, etc
  • End of day code reviews and challenges
  • Getting work from Program Team
  • Get stories to groom out and complete
  • Will use internal One Pipeline to deploy
• Team interacts with multiple API’s, consume and publish data to various sources
• Interact with SF on daily basis as a source or destination.

Job Description:

• 3+ years of experience in application development including Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
• 2+ years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• 2+ years experience with Distributed data/computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL)
• 2+ year experience working on real-time data and streaming applications
• 2+ years of experience with NoSQL implementation (Mongo, Cassandra)
• 2+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting
• 2+ years of experience with Agile engineering practices
