Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a complete understanding of each workstream in Global Accounting
- Serve as a subject matter expert in areas of General Ledger, International Accounting, and Fixed Asset
- Act as a key contributor to S4 HANA implementation, including strong leadership in:
- General Ledger
- Document Splitting
- Data Migration
- International Accounting
- Fixed Assets
- Create, document, and ensure business requirements are met during delivery
- Good understanding of how each workstream interconnects and consider the holistic impact on the entire system
- Collaborate with IT to ensure business requirements are translated to detailed functional requirements for the design and delivery of functionality
- Coordinate and perform user acceptance testing and assist in the resolution of any functional issues
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy during data migration, performing reconciliations and validation
- Provide oversight of project deliverables; maintain implementation progress
- Supervise project team members
- Be the bridge between business users and IT
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance related field
- 15+ years of consulting experience in SAP implementation; focus on General Ledger, Document Splitting, Fixed Asset and International Accounting
- Demonstrated the ability to lead cross-functional projects
- Experienced knowledge of accounting policies, SOX controls, and financial statement preparation
- Familiar with Blackline, Tableau, Power BI, Ariba and Concur is a plus
