JOB DETAIL

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a complete understanding of each workstream in Global Accounting
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in areas of General Ledger, International Accounting, and Fixed Asset
  • Act as a key contributor to S4 HANA implementation, including strong leadership in:
    • General Ledger
    • Document Splitting
    • Data Migration
    • International Accounting
    • Fixed Assets
  • Create, document, and ensure business requirements​ are met during delivery​
  • Good understanding of how each workstream interconnects and consider the holistic impact on the entire system
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure business requirements are translated  to detailed functional requirements for the design and  delivery of functionality ​
  • Coordinate and perform user acceptance testing and assist in the resolution of any functional issues
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy during data migration, performing reconciliations and validation
  • Provide oversight of project deliverables; maintain implementation progress
  • Supervise project team members
  • Be the bridge between business users and IT
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance related field
  • 15+ years of consulting experience in SAP implementation; focus on General Ledger, Document Splitting, Fixed Asset and International Accounting
  • Demonstrated the ability to lead cross-functional projects
  • Experienced knowledge of accounting policies, SOX controls, and financial statement preparation
  • Familiar with Blackline, Tableau, Power BI, Ariba and Concur is a plus
