About the job

We are seeking highly skilled S/4 HANA Solution Architects to join our team. The selected candidates will support the solution design and delivery of SAP S/4 HANA in the area of Production Planning, and will provide functional expertise, thought leadership, and hands-on solution configuration for our direct clients. Areas of accountability include: Production Master Data, S&OP, MRP, Advanced Planning, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Execution (Discrete, Process, and Repetitive Mfg), and MES Integration.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Responsible for the full systems lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of SAP Production Planning functionality in S/4 HANA.

Apply functional expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve business processes, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings for the client.

Participate on various SAP rollout projects or SAP support & maintenance projects within functional area.

Facilitate business process re-engineering sessions as part of discovery and preparation project phases.

Document and prioritize business requirements, process and techno-functional gaps, key decisions and future state solution designs.

Build and demo Proof of Concept / Model Office deployments of S/4 HANA to subject matter experts and process owners to help guide requirements gathering and solution design.

Prepare functional design and specifications, system configuration, perform relevant testing and deployment of the designed business solution.

Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area with this knowledge.

Develop end user training content and conduct end user training.

 

 

Key job requirements include:

 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Must have the ability to lead a cross functional team, facilitate client workshops, and present to large groups of client participants including C-Level stakeholders

12 + years’ experience in SAP Production Planning with strong expertise in Production Master Data, S&OP, MRP, Advanced Planning, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Execution, and MES Integration.

5 + years’ experience as a Project Lead delivering S/4 HANA Production Planning (Minimum of 2 Greenfield and/or Brownfield deployments).

5 + years’ experience implementing S/4 HANA Discrete Production, Repetitive Manufacturing, and Process Industries (PP-PI)

3 + years’ experience implementing PP with Warehouse Management

3 + years’ experience in implementing Inter-Company Stock Transfers (STO), Intercompany Sales, Intercompany Sales with direct procurement, Sub-Contracting, and Consignment.

3 + years’ experience in Materials Management (Procurement and Inventory Management) is desired

Strong experience with Handling Unit Management and KANBAN

Strong experience with Inter-Company Stock Transfers, Sub-Contracting, and Consignment

Strong cross functional experience with FICO, MM, WM, EWM and SD

Experience with SAP ME is a plus

Experience with Variant Configuration is a plus

Experience integrating with 3rd party MES systems is a plus

SAP S/4HANA certification in Production Planning for release 2020 and above is highly desirable
