Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on requirements gathering, application design, development, testing, deployment, and technical support
- Work with the Driver License team, focusing on web development using Microsoft .NET technologies
- New development and rewriting legacy applications to .NET applications
- Implement N-tier architecture complying with ODPS coding standards
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to technical staff
- Conduct in-person interviews at the Shipley Building in Columbus
Required Skills/Experience:
- 10 years of .NET Web Development experience, with at least 4 years in ASP.NET MVC
- 10 years of ASP.NET experience using C#
- 2 years of experience with Microservices
- 2 years of experience with Microsoft C# .NET Core or .NET 5
- 10 years of SQL Server Database Design and Development experience
- 10 years of application experience using Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later
- 5 years of experience in AGILE methodology
- 10 years of experience in web applications using .NET Framework 4.0 or higher
- 10 years of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
- Experience with code repository strategies, promotion strategies, and recovery using Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Experience with Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) in ASP.NET Web applications
- Experience in developing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) within an MVC web application
- Experience developing mobile-compliant applications
- Understanding of secure coding practices for an ASP.Net MVC application
- 2 years of Test Driven Development (TDD) experience or implementing a testing strategy
- 5 years of experience with Visual Studio, including 2 years with Visual Studio 2019
- 5 years of experience with TFS/Azure DevOps, including git, boards, and CI/CD pipelines
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Experience developing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud computing, containers, Kubernetes
- 3 years of ETL development experience
- MCPD certification
- Experience developing reports using Microsoft Power BI
- Experience with JQuery and JavaScript
