Position Overview:

This position is responsible for supporting and maintaining the AWS, UNIX/Linux & Windows database infrastructure. This position is responsible for maximizing computer availability and performance as it relates to the AWS (RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, Dynamo DB), Oracle, SQL server databases on-prem as well as in the AWS Cloud. This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to the entire IT staff in database construction and access methodologies.

Required Skills:

• Providing technical programming insight and recommendations to the entire IT staff for: AWS Cloud Migrations, Oracle, SQL server & SAP HANA databases.
• Researching system problems and managing the resolution of these problems through internal Senior Database Administrator or vendor technical support.
• Hands on experience on ASM and Clusterware on RAC/Non-RAC databases.
• 10+ years supporting enterprise database environments both on-prem and in the Cloud.
• Well versed in UNIX/Linux/Windows database systems
• 10+ years of SQL Server DBA experience
• 10+ yeas of Oracle DBA experience
• 2+ years of SAP HANA database experience
• 2+ years of RDS or Postgres experience
• Strong understanding of AWS
