Business Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC location only.

this is C2H position

Understanding of the insurance or brokerage industry is a plus.

Job Description.

Responsibilities:

1. Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including brokers, clients, and internal teams, to gather and document business requirements.

2. Functional Analysis: Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring they align with the portal's goals and objectives.

3. User Stories and Use Cases: Create user stories, use cases, and process flows to capture the end-to-end user journey and system interactions.

4. Feature Prioritization: Work with stakeholders to prioritize website features, functionalities, and enhancements based on business value and customer needs.

5. UI/UX Collaboration: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure the portal's user interface and user experience meet industry standards and user expectations.

6. Data Analysis: Analyze and define data requirements, including data sources, data transformations, and reporting needs for the portal.

7. Quality Assurance: Define test cases and collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the portal's functionality is thoroughly tested and meets quality standards.

8. Change Management: Support change management processes to facilitate a smooth transition during portal updates and improvements.

9. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.

10. Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and effective communication to stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of project progress and outcomes.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in web portal or web application projects.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Understanding of the insurance or brokerage industry is a plus.
