Ability to translate requirements into test cases
Understand the business problems that our technology is created to solve
Test current products and identify deficiencies
Submit and verify defects
Create and maintain test cases in test case management system
Assist with product documentation which may entail writing user facing documentation
Work with product manager, onshore and offshore team members to improve customer experience
Lead to engage relevant business and technology teams to resolve any issues
Manual testing, integration testing, regression testing and automated testing
Establish & document best practices in automated tests
Ability to troubleshoot and fix failing tests in Teamcity
Continually evaluate new testing tools and provide recommendations to the team
Continually evaluate /increase automated regression coverage
Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement
Mentor and train other QA engineers on improving their testing skills
Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management
Qualifications
Bachelorâs degree or 5+ years of software testing experience
3+ years of experience writing database queries
Experience working on automated testing frameworks like Selenium
Ability to setup and utilize virtual environments to aid in testing (VMWare, AWS, Browserstack, etc).
Good understanding of any programming language
Experience with service level testing (RESTful and WCF) using .NETFramework or existing tools such as SoapUI or Postman.
Experience with setup / configuration of CI / CD GIT pipelines
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
Proficiency with testing on web, desktop, and mobile applications
Experience with Agile development principles
