JOB DETAIL

 Develop complex decision support solutions, design claims financial data builds, extracts, reports, data marts, and/or analysis using Teradata.  Responsible for entire development life cycle.

· Performs logic changes, data management, and application data refreshes.

· Manages the Maintenance and optimization of the Actuarial Systems Data Marts.

· Establishes interdepartmental relationships to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

· Ensures Financial granular detail data is appropriately auditable, snapshotted and stored for quarterly and year end audits.

· Provides data content support and ensures all data issues are understood and proactively resolved (when possible).

· Plan and serve as a key liaison with business areas during development and implementation.

· Identify best practices, communicate and implement these practices within the department.

· Provide detailed configuration expertise to customers and business partners. This includes verbal, written, and electronic communication, and delivering presentations when needed.

· Monitor configuration implementations to ensure common standards are followed, makes recommendations for standards improvements.

 

Hiring Requirements

· Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)

· 8+ years of experience in related field.

· In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.

· 5+ years of SQL Development/Analysis experience

· 5+ years of healthcare claims data experience

· Experience with Stop loss Insurance is a plus.

· Facets experience a MUST.
