• Experience in the financial industry with knowledge of trade flow and corporate actions
• MQ, Unix and Unix shell scripting
• Experience with Fujitsu NetCobol or MicroFocus Cobol
• Is this role supporting a specific project or initiative, which project or initiative is this role supporting?
o This position is to support the Investment Book of Records development team.
o The candidate will develop and support existing and new functionality for our in-house suite of applications written in Cobol.
• What will the interview process look like (phone screen, face to face, meet with team, how many rounds, etc)? Is there a test in the interview the candidate should be prepared for?
o Zoom call (Audio & Video)
o 2 to 3 rounds
o SQL/Coding skill test (may apply)
• What are the working hours, time zone? What are the schedule requirements (hybrid, remote)?
o Preferably working hours 9:00 am to 6:00 pm - Pacific Standard Time
o At least 4 days a week in the office

o 12 to 18 months
• What training will be provided for this contractor and what are first day expectations?
o On first day, developer can expect an orientation session, introduction to company policies, and task-specific training. Additional guidance will be provided by team members as part of our onboarding process.
• What is the day to day of the person going to look like? Please be specific.
o Will get involved in full software development cycle, including analysis, design, writing technical specs, software development, testing large-scale software applications, assisting SQA teams with UAT testing and production support.
