JOB DETAIL

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform full life-cycle development of Windows-based and web-based database applications against Oracle 19c and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Work both independently and as part of an Agile (SCRUM) development team
Design and develop reports which integrate data from multiple LOB applications.
Review and repair legacy code
Document code consistently throughout the development process
Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software quality.
Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and management to define new (and enhance existing) features that are aligned with this organization’s overall long-term strategy.
Participate in special projects.
Develop Web Applications, Web Services, etc. should the needs of the organization require.
Assist in development of training materials, user documentation, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 10+ years’ experience building .Net database applications using C# is required, minimum 5+ years’ experience with .Net Framework 4.0 or higher (Framework 4.8 preferred)
Strong Database development experience with Oracle 11g or 12c is required.  Experience with both Oracle and SQL Server is strongly preferred.
Experience with technologies such as Entity Framework, MVC, MVVM, SOA, Web Services, WCF, and / or WPF is required.
Experience developing Windows-based applications is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, subject matter experts, and end users.
Demonstrates ability to manage complex issues while maintaining a flexible, positive, and cooperative demeanor.
Responds in a timely manner to operations leaders and stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
Troubleshoots assigned issues, gathers evidence, and investigates all relevant information with participants, vendors, and internal departments to resolve the problem in a cooperative and collaborative manner.
Experience working in an Agile project lifecycle (SCRUM) is preferred.
Experience working with Telerik UI controls is preferred.
EDUCATION LEVEL:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline or equivalent experience required
