Responsibilities will include:* Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture, and implement)* Design system and component that meet needs and requirements* The Mechanical Engineer will test and evaluate theoretical designs* Identify, formulate, and produce effective solutions to emerging problems* Evaluate final product's overall performance, reliability, and safety* Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions* Modify the designs of existing products to meet the needs of a changing market* Establish and maintain a project report for all design or redesign projects including changes made and implementation schedule* Utilization of AutoCAD to produce detailed production drawings and drawings for sales proposals* Explore the technical needs of customers to develop criteria for new or modified product designs* Regularly help to implement ideas to improve product quality, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction* Generation, maintenance, and improvement, of BOM's in support of production designs* Simplify and standardize product designs and manufacturing processes* The Mechanical Engineer will work with customer service to propose and build products with special modifications* Maintenance of filing system for all engineering documentation* Participate in Teams meeting and attend safety required meetings
