On-Board OTA Test Engineer Education:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Some positions may require a master’s degree.Experience:• Previous experience in automotive software validation, firmware testing, or related roles.• Familiarity with Over-the-Air (OTA) update processes in automotive systems is highly desirable.• Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, Python, or scripting languages commonly used in test automation.• Understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and diagnostics protocols (e.g., UDS).• Knowledge of wireless communication technologies, including cellular networks (4G, 5G) and Wi-Fi, as these are commonly used for OTA updates.• Familiarity with industry standards related to OTA updates, such as OMA DM, AUTOSAR, IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi) and other relevant standards in the automotive domain.• Experience with testing
