Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership:
   • Lead and mentor a team of BI developers, providing hands-on guidance in the development and implementation of solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align technical solutions to solve complex business problems.

Coordinate efforts for onshore and offshore BI teams on joint projects

Implement standards and best practices.

2. Development and Maintenance:
   • Oversee and actively participate in the development and maintenance of Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Power BI.

Ensure high-quality code, data integrity, and optimal performance of BI applications.

3. Data Warehousing:
   • Leverage expertise in data warehousing to design, implement, and maintain robust data architectures.

Develop and optimize ETL processes to support data integration and transformation.

4. System Architecture:
   • Design and implement scalable and efficient system architectures for BI solutions.

Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define and refine system requirements.

5. Support and Troubleshooting:
   • Provide hands-on support for BI applications, resolving technical issues promptly.

Collaborate with the support team to address and resolve user-reported problems.

6. Development Lifecycle:
   • Drive the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Implement best practices for version control, code reviews, and documentation.

7. Azure Integration
   • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse to enhance and extend existing BI capabilities.

Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend their adoption based on business needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Proven experience (10+ years) in leading BI development teams.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Power BI.

Expertise in data warehousing principles and practices.

Demonstrated ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
