Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from MongoDB collections into Snowflake, enabling seamless integration with Tableau for reporting and
visualization purposes.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, optimize data models, and implement efficient solutions to support our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract data from MongoDB collections and load into Snowflake data warehouse.
Design and implement data models and schemas in Snowflake to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of data.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for reporting and visualization.
Integrate Snowflake with Tableau to enable interactive and visually appealing data dashboards and reports.
Optimize data pipelines and workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Implement data governance and security best practices to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation and timely delivery of data.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering and analytics.
Requirements:
8 to 10 years of overall experience is preferred.
Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on database management, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Snowflake, and Tableau.
Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for data manipulation and automation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
