Support the business and business analysts to understand and document current issues and inefficiencies in repo and MBS collateral management process.
Desing technical solutions to resolve business issues that are within the capabilities of the TLM Collateral Management System.
Upgrading TLM Collateral Management to a later version (once needed): configuring all individual software modules, upgrading various databases, setup and configuration of IIS websites, ownership of executing full UAT & regression testing of the system post upgrade including downstream feeds and outputs.
Working closely with the vendor to identify and implement changes to improve performance of the system.
Creating and updating in-house SQL extracts.
Optimizing batch processing to decouple margin types and reduce business/SLA impact when failures occur.
3+ years of previous hands-on experience on similar role
Extensive Experience in support of the SmartStream TLM Collateral Management application for OTC derivatives, repo and MBS margining
An understanding of bank collateral management obligations including variation margin, initial margin
Product knowledge of OTC derivatives, repo and SBL
Experience in configuring IIS websites and authentication.
Strong SQL knowledge including the creation of stored procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with XML and MQ messaging
Ability and experience of working under the pressure - both autonomously and within a team
Ability to liaise with business and IT stakeholders at all levels of the organization
