1. Build, prune and prioritized the product backlog, adapt to changing priorities and

accounting for the necessary adjustments to maximize customer value

2.Refine and decompose the Product backlog items with the dev team into executable

stories that articulate business and customer value

3. Make sure the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and provides

direction on order of the Scrum team's work

4.Collaborates with the agile team on a daily basis, clarifying details and answering questions

about direction & strategy, and actively participate in Scrum events and other planning

activities

5.Works with cross-functional teams to ensure that the business, quality and functional goals

are met with each product release

6. Identifies and mitigates risks, threats, or opportunities that could impact the success of the

project, notifying the team and escalating issues when appropriate

7.Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business strategy, market trends.

competitors, and customer base through market research, customer feedback, and product

performance

8.Act as user and customer advocate by evaluating cost and impact on users and product

9. Effectively negotiate and align product and feature functions with stakeholders and

customers

10. Plan and execute product release management

Required Skills, Knowledge, And Experience

1.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Computer Science (or related degree) and

5+ years of experience in Product Management/ Owner work, or total equivalent Experience

2. Demonstrates ability to use excel and other tools to create business models, track

progress, and provide supporting evidence for data driven product decisions

3. Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively across multiple development teams and

stakeholders

4.Demonstrates ability to create feedback loops with customers or users and fulfill customer

needs

5.Demonstrates ability to represent the voice of the customer by translating customer

requirements into great user stories and evangelizing their product vision

6.Demonstrates ability to develop and manage a product roadmap

7.Knowledge of product user design

8.Experience in Product Management/Ownership for high-tech, consumer software

products

9. Experience working in a fast paced, iterative, Agile software engineering environment

10. Demonstrates ability to train more junior Product Owners and other team members

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, And Experience

1.Master's degree in related field

2.PSPO. PSPO I or CSPO certification
