Lead engineering investigations to bring quicker issue resolution to support impacting enterprise customers and improve customer experience.
Build solutions, help create tools, help automate issue detection and diagnosis, to enable customers or support to self-resolve the issue.

Represent and communicate with corporate customers to provide in-depth technical support for complex escalated problems identified in client software products or services and manage relationships with those customers.

Ability to optimize complex SQL queries for PostgreSQL, including query analysis and index optimization.
Experience in diagnosing and resolving performance issues, including query execution plans and resource utilization
Proficiency in monitoring and optimizing PostgreSQL performance using tools like pg_stat_statements, pg_stat_activity, and EXPLAIN ANALYZE and familiarity with PostgreSQL extensions.
Knowledge of performance tuning parameters and settings
Ability to write scripts in languages like Bash, Python, or PL/PG SQL to automate routine PostgreSQL tasks, such as maintenance, monitoring, and data migrations
Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex PostgreSQL database issues, including database corruption, data integrity problems, and connectivity issues
Knowledge of PostgreSQL scaling techniques, including table partitioning and sharding strategies
Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills, an ability to use various data collection tools and methodologies to analyze problems and develop solutions
