As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our data analytics and reporting needs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Salesforce, SQL, and hands-on experience with data engineering tools and technologies.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Design and develop data models and schemas to support reporting and analytics needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a focus on building and maintaining data pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce data extraction and integration.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Experience with data engineering tools and technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, and AWS/GCP/Azure data services.
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce certification(s) such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer.
