Our client located in Augusta, ME is looking for a Java Architect to join their team. The Java Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing application infrastructure to provide highly-complex, reliable, and scalable applications and systems to meet the organization’s objectives and requirements.
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT
- Architecture software design - Expert - 5 years
- Service-oriented architecture development - Expert - 5 years
- JAVA Full Stack development - Expert - 5 years
- Familiarity with a variety of the application technologies, environments, concepts, methodologies, practices, and procedures and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Proven experience defining systems and application architecture and provide vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving ability to organization.
Responsibilities
- Consult with the client to define needs or problems, conduct research, perform studies and surveys to obtain data, and analyze problems to advise on or recommend solutions, utilizing knowledge of theory, principles, or technology of specific discipline or field of specialization.
- Responsible for designing, developing and implementing a new modernized architecture for a data modernization project.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to other development staff in this project to refactor our two major applications to REST and based SOA architecture paired with REACT as the modern browser-based UI.
- Implement using secure coding standards and practices.
- Perform a variety of complicated tasks with minimal or no direct supervision.
