JOB DETAIL

  • Design, install, maintain, and document all server and cloud platform requirements in an enterprise scale Microsoft Azure Active Directory cloud platform as directed by the Department. These duties include but are not limited to: system administration, server maintenance, monthly patching, daily monitoring, error tracking, issue remediation and change control.
  • Evaluate existing HMS infrastructure and collaborate with the Centralization of HMS (CHMS) Project Team to identify the requirements for cloud migration as directed by the Department.
  • Develop and document a comprehensive cloud architecture design that supports required HMS functionality and the migration of county health department HMS databases, specifying the cloud resources and services to be used as directed by the Department.
  • Collaborate with the CHMS Team to develop the data migration plan, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies, and execute the migration of HMS data to the cloud, ensuring data integrity and security as directed by the Department.
  • Develop Disaster Recovery and business continuity plans, including backup schedules, redundancy for reporting and recovery procedures for the centralized HMS as directed by the Department.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported by customers, system administrators and support teams daily as directed by the Department.
  • Provide technical expertise to users, management, vendors and peers for issues involving other Department business offices and vendors daily as directed by the Department.
  • Provide documented resolutions to Service Desk and Change Management tickets, daily, as directed by the Department.
  • Complete job required training as assigned by the Department. Completion verification may include certificates, sign-in sheets and verification via the Department’s Learning Management System.
