Database Management:
- Manage and maintain SQL Server databases to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
- Perform routine database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and database integrity checks.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Troubleshooting and Resolution:
- Investigate and troubleshoot database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and data corruption.
- Develop and implement solutions to resolve issues promptly and minimize downtime.
Backup and Recovery:
- Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies for databases to minimize data loss and ensure business continuity.
- Test and validate backup and recovery procedures regularly to ensure reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a SQL Server.
- In-depth knowledge of database architecture, administration, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, including designing and deploying data pipelines.
- Proficiency in SQL query optimization and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
