We are seeking an experienced EDM (Enterprise Data Management) Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling and architecture, with expertise in domains such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Forecast to Deliver. The primary responsibility of the EDM Architect will be to design and implement effective data management solutions that align with the organization's business objectives.
Must Have Skills
Modeling Architecture: The candidate should possess advanced knowledge and experience in designing and implementing data modeling architectures that support complex business processes.
Data Modeling: Proficiency in developing data models that accurately represent the organization's data requirements and facilitate efficient data management.
Preferred Domain Experience: The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following domains:
Procure to Pay
Order to Cash
Forecast to Deliver
Nice to have skills
Experience with EDM tools and technologies.
Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
Familiarity with data integration techniques and technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across various teams and stakeholders.
Ability to stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data management.
Detailed Job Description
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data management solutions.
Design and implement data modeling architectures that support the organization's strategic objectives and business processes.
Develop and maintain data models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
Provide guidance and support to development teams on data modeling best practices and standards.
Work closely with data engineers and analysts to optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing.
Define and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and security.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance data management practices within the organization.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced certifications in data management or related disciplines are a plus.
Experience:
8-10 years of experience in data management, with a focus on data modeling and architecture.
Proven experience in implementing data management solutions in complex business environments.
Experience with EDM tools and technologies is preferred.
