JOB DETAIL

Implements and supports Supply Chain solutions (Warehouse Management Systems) within assigned Supply Chain Division. Supports and ensures quality delivery of predefined IT solution(s) as selected to support business needs, including system setup, testing, training, implementation, and post implementation support of the predefined IT solution(s) such as Warehouse Management System into a new or existing client site(s).  Understands current work processes and develops and publishes work processes, actively participates in User Acceptance Testing, and facilitates technical documentation of systems and supports operational development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) between Supply Chain and the client.  Applies IT and internal team methodologies to ensure implementations are delivered in a consistent, standard, and repeatable method.
Analyzes customer and business partner requirements to understand and apply systems implementation concepts and principles to effectively implement and support business systems solutions.  Participates in the development of implementation and support cost estimates.  Prepares and delivers status reports to team leader, senior management and other project leaders.  Acts as project leader on internal team initiatives.  Serves as internal technical expert, partnering with product team on setup/design phases and provides configuration and design direction to ensure project standardization.  Provides technical leadership and guidance to implementation team.
Makes decisions related to the systems implementation analysis tasks on a project IR’s/service request, or other support functions, including configuration decisions, developing testing scripts and scenarios, development of training and documentation and goodness of fit/solution recommendations.  Partners with product team to determine appropriateness of new solutions/strategies

Key Accountabilities / Primary Duties & Responsibilities Pursuits:

  • Recommends basic to complex configuration strategies for predefined IT solution(s) that meet or exceed the requirement of customers and business partners.
  • Participates in development of concept of systems development, software demonstration preparation and execution, and goodness of fit/solution design review for meaningful to complex business opportunities.
  • May develop new solutions and strategies.

Project Planning & Administration:

  • Contributes to the development of project plan by supporting the overall project work plan, specifically in estimating of implementation tasks (e.g., system set-up, user testing, training).
  • Experienced in the use of Supply Chain Project administration processes, including tracking labor against the project plan.

Project Delivery:

  • Facilitates and supports business acceptance testing process with customers, analysts and project leaders for custom and package application projects.
  • Applies advanced level industry specific knowledge to deliver solutions.  Provides specialty technical knowledge of one or more in-house or third-party applications.
  • Performs system setup, configuration, testing, training, troubleshooting and go-live support.
  • Facilitates training for all levels of associates, customers, and/or business partners.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business or technical field
7-9 years’ experience in an IT environment, experience with Manhattan Active required
Experience in the implementation and support of business systems
Considerable knowledge of information technology, logistics and supply chain marketplace
Considerable knowledge of service functions, including deep and broad understanding or experience of a service function inside the context of a business unit
Thorough knowledge of specific applications based on assigned specialty area
Excellent verbal communication skills – ability to clearly present information through the spoken word; influence or persuade others through oral presentations in positive or negative circumstances; listens well.
