JOB DETAIL

  1. Version Upgrades: Lead and execute TIBCO product upgrades, including TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW), TIBCO Enterprise Messaging Service (EMS), and other components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, test, and implement upgrades.
  2. Compatibility Assessment: Evaluate the impact of upgrades on existing applications, interfaces, and integrations. Ensure backward compatibility and address any issues arising from version changes.
  3. Hands-On: Perform hands-on coding with TIBCO Active Matrix (AMX) BW, TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS), TIBCO HAWK as needed for Proof-of-concept validations and in guiding other team members
  4. Design: Work with Solution Architects and Business Unit tech leads to analyze requirements and define the high-level design
  5. Performance Testing: Conduct thorough performance testing after upgrades to validate system stability, scalability, and responsiveness.
  6. Documentation and Training: Create detailed documentation for upgrade processes, best practices, and troubleshooting guidelines. Define and own strategy for SW deployment, work on automation of deployments. Train team members on new features and functionalities.
  7. Monitoring and Support: Monitor post-upgrade environments, address any issues promptly, and provide ongoing support to users and development teams.
  8. Security and Compliance: Implement security patches and ensure compliance with organizational policies during upgrades.

 

Work and Technical Experience:

Must-Have:

  1. Minimum 5 years hands on development of EAI and B2B interfaces on TIBCO Business Works.
  2. Experience developing or supporting Mulesoft API’s running on CloudHub or on-premises.
  3. TIBCO Products: Proficiency in TIBCO BusinessWorks, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Hawk, and other TIBCO adapters.
  4. Upgrade Expertise: Experience with TIBCO version upgrades, including planning, execution, and rollback strategies. Experience in performing migrations from older versions to newer versions for 5.x and 6.x versions.
  5. Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to upgrades, compatibility, and performance.
  6. System Administration: Knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems, database servers (Oracle, SQL Server), and web/application servers (Apache-Tomcat, WebLogic).
  7. TIBCO Administration: At least 3 years of experience installing and configuring TIBCO BusinessWorks 5.X, 6.X and CE, Tibco Administrator, Tibco Domain Utility, TEA
