5+ years' experience in Release Engineering
• Strong Unix knowledge
• Hands on working knowledge in terraform, puppet, gitops, docker and kubernetes
• Able to multi task and switch between priorities as needed
• Good communication skills
• Prior experience in handling production issues
• As this is a lead position, ability to explain and articulate things to others
• Hands on experience in JIRA and confluence
• Experience with AWS is highly desired
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle & DevOps Practices
• Expertise with Source Control systems (Git, etc.)
• Expertise with Build tools such as Maven, Jenkins
• Experience with Continuous Integration Environments
• Strong scripting skills (ruby, shell)
• Experience with java app server, e.g. Weblogic, Tomcat
• Experience with Infrastructure deployment tools such as puppet or chef
• Experience with Deployment orchestration tools such as Capistrano
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
• Basic understanding of networking terminology and layouts
