We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role primarily focuses on ensuring the accuracy and functionality of firmware and related components in our aviation systems. The successful candidate will work in tandem with the Engineering team to verify configurations and will liaise with internal teams to understand requirements for driving testing initiatives. This role is pivotal in collaborating with offshore development teams for implementing changes or addressing bug fixes. Additionally, the QA Analyst will be responsible for writing and executing test cases for various systems impacted by engineering changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with Engineering teams to ensure proper configuration of firmware and other related items in aircraft systems.
- Understand and interpret requirements to drive effective testing strategies.
- Communicate and coordinate with offshore development teams regarding changes, bug fixes, and testing requirements.
- Develop, write, and execute test cases for IQ mobile and web applications, as well as other impacted systems within the organization.
- Ensure the quality and stability of systems through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and apply them to improve testing frameworks and methodologies.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance and testing, preferably in aviation or related sectors.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with the following technologies:

- Webdriver.io for test automation.
- JavaScript, as utilized in conjunction with Webdriver.
- Appium for mobile and web test code integration and Cucumber integration.
- Cucumber for feature description using Gherkin syntax.
- Experience with Sause Labs is advantageous.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and effective test cases.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
