JOB DETAIL

  • Build and maintain the SCLM product datasets that contain client information.
  • Build client requested new processes to move client objects from one client environment to another client environment.
  • Functional testing of built processes.
  • Incorporation of functionality from addons or plugins from products such as Eclipse or Github into code promotion processes.
  • Update existing processes to include changes required by new version or release of:
  • System software. (i.e CICS or DB2, Compliers (i.e COBOL or PL1), JCL scanning tool
  • Update existing processes to include changes required by any hardware upgrades.
  • Manage SCLM product libraries containing client data including creating, maintaining, audit reporting, logging, backup and restore.
  • Evaluate the security request and generate an appropriate security support ticket(s).
  • When code promotion product internal security is utilized, fulfill the client approved security request.
  • Provide assistance to code promotion process failures.
  • Analyzing code promotion process failure.
  • Recommend changes to the code promotion process to resolve the failure.
  • Install & maintain Endevor Software including: Addons, Plugins, APIs
  • Customize panel, skeleton, or CLIST/REXX migration codes.
  • Evaluate and recommend Endevor upgrade requirements:
  • New features such as coding and testing
  • Building, modifying, and maintaining Endevor tables.
  • Create, maintain, and upgrade existing user code.
  • Build and maintain Endevor environment.
  • Build processor groups and test new functionality for any Endevor type (ex. COBOL)
  • Update existing processor groups including:
  • New releases of systems, loading modules, or copybook changes
  • New versions of COBOL or other tools
  • Changes to JCL scanning tool
