Design Technologies Group within various software tools and services for hardware engineering teams within These services serve broad areas around High-Performance Compute, Desktop Virtualization, License Management, Simulation Data Management and AI/ML Infrastructure. You will be joining a strong team with a great work environment, with an opportunity to lead the technology and product decisions we make on behalf of these interesting customer challenges.
The ideal candidate should have experience in building distributed systems, with strength on infrastructure concepts. In addition to strong technical knowledge, the ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced start-up like environment and be passionate about solving ambiguous problems.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead design, implementation, testing, and delivery of solutions.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Work directly with customers and dependencies to ensure quality delivery.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of object-oriented Python programming and Web Services/API development experience.
• 2+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Foundational understanding of core AWS services around Compute, Networking, Storage and Security
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• AWS Certifications: AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Experience with Infrastructure Automation such as CloudFormation and CDK
• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows based systems with proficiency in Bash and PowerShell scripting
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like ReactJS
