Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP EWM Consultant to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona, for a 12-month contract. This role is critical for transitioning from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA in a private cloud environment. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in successfully implementing and optimizing SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) functionalities within our S/4HANA landscape. This unique opportunity to contribute to a significant transformation project requires extensive functional knowledge of SAP EWM and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and testing of SAP EWM functionalities to meet business requirements within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their warehouse management needs and translate these into SAP EWM solutions.
- Provide expertise in the migration process from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to warehouse operations.
- Develop and implement best practices and strategies for warehouse management optimization using SAP EWM.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and internal teams to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of the new system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP EWM-related issues, providing support and guidance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the IT and project management teams to ensure deadlines and project goals are met.
- Document all configurations, customizations, and procedures related to the SAP EWM implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP EWM configuration and implementation, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in warehouse management processes and integration with other SAP modules.
- Ability to work on-site in Scottsdale, Arizona, for the project's duration.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- SAP EWM certification.
- Experience in migrating from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of private cloud environments and their integration with SAP systems.
